Life Insurance (see also products by MAPFRE LIFE)

MAPFRE LIFE  underwrites the Life Insurance option that is desired. Life benefits may be set providing coverages based on Classes, Positions or multiples of salaries of the work force.

This Life Insurance benefit also includes Accidental Death coverage, which provides a double indemnity benefit of the basic coverage.

Accidental Dismemberment is another part of the Life Insurance package, compensation equal to 50% of the basic benefit for the accidental loss of one limb or 100% for the loss of two limbs.

The Common Carrier clause in the Life Insurance benefit provides for the payment of three times the basic life benefit should the insured employee die while a fare-paying passenger on a public transportation system.

Optional Life Insurance Benefit

Optional Life benefit may be provided for employees based on 100%, 200%, 300% or 400% of basic coverage. As an optional benefit, all coverage in excess of the basic is subject to the submission of evidence of insurability.

Dependent Life is another optional benefit, coverage for the spouse and dependent children is also available through the employers group coverage.
